AABC and Symposia provide a unique forum where the directions of automotive power system technology are revealed by some of its most influential players.

The 7th International Advanced Automotive Battery & Ultracapacitor Conference (AABC-07) and 3rd International Symposia on Large Lithium Battery Technology and Applications (LLIBTA-07) and Large Ultracapacitor Technology and Applications (UCAP-07), were held in Long Beach, California, May 14 to 18, 2007.

LLIBTA and UCAP-07 attracted record numbers of material developers, cell developers, and current and prospective large cell users, and heated discussions regarding Li-Ion cathode choice, battery safety, and application development. AABC-07 followed with key areas such as HEV market development, Li-Ion status for HEV applications, PHEV challenges, and the emergence of high-volume micro-hybrid business in Europe.
