AABC Europe Will Be A Virtual Event For 2021

Like many of you, we have been closely following updates and evolving guidances from local, national and global agencies for COVID-19. There is still much uncertainty around the coronavirus, and how long our communities may be impacted by the pandemic, but it seems certain that decisions about how we work, travel and gather together will continue to be influenced for weeks and months still to come.

We have made the decision to move forward with a virtual meeting for AABC Europe this year. We are hard at work transitioning to a virtual event featuring online sessions, networking, exhibits and posters, running on the dates of 19-21 January 2021.

RESCHEDULING FAQ

Q: Is the virtual meeting replacing the in-person meeting?
A: Yes, the virtual meeting replaces the in-person meeting of AABC Europe in 2021. We hope to see you in 2022, when it is safe for us to come together again.

Q: When will the virtual sessions take place?
A: Sessions will run in “real time” from approximately 09:00 – 17:00 in Central European Time (CET), Tuesday through Thursday.

Q: Will sessions be available after the virtual meeting?
A: Yes, select sessions will be available to view on demand after the virtual meeting has ended. We do our best to share as many presentations as we are able to, but due to unpublished/proprietary content and company policy, some speaker presentations may only be available as live presentations.

REGISTRATION

Q: I am currently registered for AABC Europe and plan to attend the virtual meeting. What do I need to do?
A: No action is required. Your registration has been automatically transferred to the in-person AABC Europe 2022 event and you’ve also been registered for the AABC Europe Virtual 2021 for no additional fee.
